MINISTRY INSTITUTE

The Foursquare Ministry Institute in Liwolo Sudan meets 3 hours, every Saturday from 9am-12. The first term of FMI is being attended by 15 students. Many of those enrolled are teachers, Teachers Training College students and older secondary students. Some are from the Nuba Mountains located in central Sudan, one of the hardest hit areas by the Arab/Moslem government in the North.

INSTITUTE SUBJECTS

1. Christian Foundations This course developed by Gary Short, is a blend of basic
doctrines and practical living skills.
2. The Gospel of Mark Main theme of Jesus, The Son of God.
3. The Father Heart of God Walking in relationship with the God as Father;
“Abba”. A time of personal encounter, facing brokenness and finding heart healing.
4. Bible Study Skills Developing practical biblical research skills and a personal
devotional life.
5. Characters Studies A look at major Old and New Testament characters with the
purpose of learning the life principles demonstrated by their lives. This course also
helps to give continuity to the students understanding of the Bible, and to develop
Christian character.
6. Biblical Preaching A practical course that teaches, outlining and sermon construction
and delivery. Each student is require to preach three times once in front of the class
and twice in other settings which they are responsible for.

THE PURPOSE

1. To develop God called ministers to lead the Church in Sudan.
2. To develop God fearing and faithful Church leaders.
3. To train people to plant Foursquare Gospel Churches
4. To train evangelism and discipleship teams.
5. To give each student a basic grasp of the Bible.
